I’m really enjoying WWE ’13, especially the ability to replay storylines from the Attitude Era.  If you liked wrestling from 1997 to 2000, this feature is what you’ve been waiting for since WWF No Mercy on the Nintendo 64.  Keep your eye out for great sales this holiday season to pick the game up at a discount (we’re playing on PS3).  Then you can use that saved money to purchase the Fan Axxess pass for all the game’s DLC plus much more.

Now I don’t often play in online sports leagues but when I do (MLB The Show 12 especially), I really enjoy the gaming community at ThatSportsGamer.com.  I was invited to stop by for their recent podcast and it was a ton of fun to share my thoughts on current generation games while still mixing in some retro wisdom and discussion.  We talk about the exclusive pre-order jerseys in NCAA Football 13 being free for everyone, problems with Madden 13, NHL 13 putting out a roster update, FIFA 13’s popularity, NBA 2K13 on mobile, women in the upcoming EA UFC game, and the Pro Wrestling X kickstarter campaign.  After that, the main event is a super obscure deep dive into WWE ’13 and a lot about the current state of WWE and wrestling today.
